This tool helps you design and visualise temporary power plans for events, productions, and similar setups. It is for illustrative and planning purposes only and is not a substitute for professional electrical design.
Temporary electrical systems for events in the UK must comply with BS 7909 (Code of practice for temporary electrical systems for entertainment and related purposes) and BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations), and must be designed, installed, and verified by a competent person as defined under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Larger events may also be subject to local authority licensing conditions and guidance set out in the HSE's Event Safety Guide ("The Purple Guide").
The output of this tool has not been certified against any standard. Before procuring equipment, energising any system, or opening to the public, your design must be reviewed, installed, and signed off by a qualified competent person (e.g. an 18th Edition qualified electrician with BS 7909 competence, or an NICEIC/NAPIT registered contractor experienced in temporary event systems).
Loadings, cable sizing, RCD/RCBO selection, earthing arrangements, and generator integration shown by this tool are estimates only and may not account for site conditions, environmental factors, diversity, or fault levels at your specific venue.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
